Is there a minimum quantity order?

  • Yes, a minimum order of five (5) meals is required.

 

How much does delivery cost?

  • For orders of 7 or less, delivery is offered at a flat rate of $7.
  • For orders of 10 or more, delivery is FREE.

 

Does my delivery address need to fall within a catchment?

  • Deliveries can only be made to customers whose delivery address falls within our delivery catchment.

 

Is delivery available to customers outside of the delivery catchment?

  • Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to customers outside of our delivery catchment.
  • But you can pickup your order.
  • collection times are Wednesday Thursday and Friday from 4pm until 9pm
  • Type 4066 in the postcode section then select store pickup when checking out

 

How are my meals packaged?

  • Meals are individually packaged in a 500ml plastic container.

 

How are my meals delivered?

  • Meals are delivered by one of our delivery drivers, to your door, in a paper bag.

 

When are my meals delivered?

  • Once your order has been received, we will contact you via phone to confirm a delivery date and timeframe. Timeframes are in 30 minute allotments, between 3pm and 8pm (for example, between 6pm and 6:30pm).

 

Are next day deliveries available?

  • For orders placed on Friday Saturday Sunday and Monday before 8pm meals will be delivered Wednesday 
  • Tuesday before 8pm Wednesday 
  • Wednesday before 8pm Thursday 
  • Thursday before 8pm Friday 

 

Do I need to be home to accept my meal delivery?

  • As our meals are delivered fresh, they cannot be left unattended. Meals must be refrigerated immediately on receipt of delivery.
  • If nobody is home to accept a delivery, we will contact you via the contact number provided.

 

Can my meal delivery be left unattended?

  • No. Our meals are delivered fresh; you must be home to accept your order.

 

Can I collect my order?

  • Yes collection times are Wednesday Thursday and Friday from 4pm until 9pm
  • For pickup type 4066 in the postcode section 

 

When are my meals prepared?

  • All meals are prepared fresh the day they are delivered.

 

How long will my meals last in the fridge?

  • If stored in the fridge immediately after deliver, meals will last up to 7 days.

 

How long will my meals last in the freezer?

  • If sorted in the freezer immediately after delivery, meals will last up to 12 weeks.

 

How long can my meals remain frozen?

  • It is recommended that frozen meals are consumed within 1 month.

 

How do I reheat my meals?

  • Reheating instructions are 3-4 minutes on high leave sit for 30seconds 

 

Food allergy warning:

  • The Little Local Food Co. meals are prepared in an environment where foods containing milk, eggs, wheat, soybean, peanuts, tree nuts, fish and shellfish may be prepared. If you have an allergy, it is advised that you do not purchase meals from The Little Local Food Co. as we cannot guarantee the complete absence of any ingredients from our products.

Do I need to create an account?

  • You do not need to create an account in, you can check out as a guest.

 

What are the benefits of creating an account?

  • Creating an account will allow you to review past orders, re-order previous order, and check out quicker.

 

What payment options do you offer?

  • We accept credit card payments. Payment may also be made by Apple Pay or Google Pay if you have a compatible device.
